About the role
As we prepare for a busy spring and summer season, we are building our pool of Civil Labourers to support our clients with a variety of upcoming temporary assignments across Canterbury. This is a hands-on role suited to people who enjoy physical outdoor work, thrive in a team environment and take pride in delivering quality results.
Duties Include
- Operate machinery and equipment across a variety of civil construction projects.
- Hands-on civil labouring work on roads, subdivisions and infrastructure sites.
- Support sealing crews to deliver high-quality surfacing and maintenance projects.
- Assist with traffic management activities to keep worksites safe and compliant.
- Your own reliable transport with a full car licence (Restricted - will be considered).
- Pass a pre employment drug screening
- Be Physically fit
- Relevant licenses are a nice to have, e.g WTR, TC, class 1,2,4
- Flexibility to work day and nights shift as required.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Competitive hourly rates plus consistent full-time hours.
- Build your skills across machine operation, civil construction and traffic management.
- Opportunities for night shift and stay-away allowances where applicable.
