Senior Test & Evaluation Engineer – Defence Systems
Canberra Consulting is seeking a Senior Test & Evaluation Engineer to support the integration and assurance of Army’s digital networks and Land Combat Systems.
Working within a multidisciplinary Defence environment, you will plan, conduct and report on test and evaluation activities that assess how interconnected systems perform together. Your work will provide evidence to support engineering decisions, identify integration issues and assess operational effectiveness and suitability.
This is a senior technical role combining practical testing, systems engineering, stakeholder engagement and coordination of test activities. It suits an experienced Defence test and evaluation professional who can work independently and translate complex findings into clear, actionable advice.
What you will do
Applicants must hold a minimum NV1 security clearance at commencement and maintain it throughout the engagement. An upgrade to NV2 may be required during the contract.
How to apply
Submit your current CV through SEEK, clearly outlining your relevant test and evaluation experience, Defence background, qualifications and current security clearance.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide a tailored statement addressing the role requirements, evidence of relevant qualifications and details of two professional referees.
Please ensure your CV demonstrates your experience with systems engineering, integration and technical test and evaluation.
Please note: This is a senior systems engineering and Defence test and evaluation role. Applicants whose experience is limited to software application testing, manual or automated QA, regression testing or UAT will not meet the requirements. You must demonstrate experience planning, conducting and reporting technical test and evaluation activities across complex integrated systems involving networks, hardware, software and operational interfaces. Please apply only if your CV clearly demonstrates this experience.
