About Finishline:

Finishline is a progressive finishing company. We fix, plaster and paint across commercial, residential and renovation projects in Gisborne and the wider East Coast. We take pride in doing things properly, and we want people on the team who feel the same.

About the Role:

You'll work on commercial builds, residential new builds, renovations and detailed fit-outs.

• Painters: surface prep, spray and brush/roller application (interior and exterior), and feature finishes

• Plasterers: GIB fixing, stopping to a Level 4/5 finish, cornices, skimming and repairs

We do fixing, plastering and painting in-house, so you can also cross-skill for more variety and steadier work.

What We Offer:

• $34–$38 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

• Permanent, full-time work with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week

What You'll Bring:

• A trade qualification in painting and/or plastering (or at least 2 years' equivalent experience)

• Painters: confident with spray and hand application

• Plasterers: confident stopping and finishing GIB to a high standard

• Reliability, professionalism and pride in your work

• A current New Zealand driver's licence

• Leadership or mentoring experience is a bonus, but not essential
