About your new role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Team Member to join our branch based in East Tamaki.
You will work closely with trade customers to understand their needs and deliver responsive, solution-focused service. Your work will help support customer success and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
Key responsibilities include picking and packing customer orders, processing branch orders, responding to telephone and counter sales enquiries, servicing key accounts, and assisting with quote preparation. The role offers plenty of variety, from handling single-product orders through to picking and preparing large, palletised orders for our larger engineering customers.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
A customer-focused attitude and a genuine desire to help others succeed
Experience in customer service, sales, or a warehouse environment
A sound understanding of joinery and kitchen/cabinetry hardware (desirable)
The physical ability to regularly lift up to 25 kg
A full New Zealand driver licence
A counterbalance forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one on the job if successful
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence building relationships with trade customers
Efficient and accurate computer skills
The ability to learn new systems quickly
A positive attitude, energy, and drive to contribute to a successful team
The ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of your responsibilities
