Aquamax Hydroblasting is a nation-wide ultra high pressure water blasting and industrial services company.
We are currently recruiting:
Hydroblasting Heavy Truck Operator / Drivers
A hands-on role within the operations team operating mobile hydro blasting equipment.
This role will work closely with the Team Leaders to ensure customer expectations on-site are achieved to a satisfactory standard whilst maintaining and adhering to strict health and safety requirements.
This role requires you to be reliable and be on time. You must be flexible to work the hours required and be prepared to undertake out of town and weekend work when required
You must be drug free and alcohol free during work hours and be prepared for random and post-incident testing
You will need to demonstrate a can-do attitude, willingness to learn and the ambition to grow and progress.
Must have the ability to work unsupervised or cooperate and assist within a team environment at all times.

Competitive hourly rates with an average $70-$90K+ annual earnings
Overtime (over 40 hours) and multiple allowances

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Drive NZ Class 2/4+ vehicles to worksites
Operate truck-mounted hydroblasting equipment
Be able to handle operations on the Cougar Pro A3000 Jetlance using pressures from 25000psi to 45000psi with low volumes of water
Be able to handle operations on the Woma 150M Jetlance using pressures from 18000psi to 36000psi at medium volumes of water
Be able to handle operations on Hydroexcavation and Vacuum Loading equipment.
Minimum qualifications, work experience, skills:
Able and be available to travel out of town as required to meet work demand
Able and available to work long days and be paid well for it
Need to actually enjoy physically demanding work and be physically fit
Hold or be prepared to train for Site Safe, Confined Space, First Aid, Heights
Have a desire to develop yourself and work hard to progress to higher roles
Zero tolerance Drug and Alcohol - regular and random testing
Class 2/4 licences required
Need to have some basic mechanical knowledge and experience
The job is based in Taupo but will require work travel around the country to meet customer demand.
