About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to step into or further develop your career in Geriatric Nursing. Working as part of a supportive team, you will lead clinical care delivery while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee residents’ daily clinical care needs
Lead and support a dedicated care team
Conduct clinical assessments and make informed care decisions
Develop, implement, and review care plans
Administer medications safely
Liaise with families and external health professionals

Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
Night penal rates + 50% weekend allowance
Minimum 72 hours per fortnight guaranteed
Rotating roster (weekdays, weekends, nights)
Ongoing training, workshops, and professional development
Study days to meet NZNC requirements
24/7 management and clinical support
Free street parking (day) + secure onsite parking (after 4:30pm)
About You
Current APC with Nursing Council of New Zealand
Minimum 1 year Registered Nurse experience in NZ preferred; applications from suitable new graduates are also welcome
Passion for aged care and person-centred practice
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident with clinical systems and technology
Organised, adaptable, and a team player
