The Optical Sensing and Solutions department invites applications for summer 2027 internships. We are seeking individuals with strong problem-solving skills and technical abilities, to work with us on applying cutting-edge AI technologies to solve real-world problems in optical fiber sensing, multimodal sensing and data processing and interpretation and make a practical impact on our future products and solutions for safety & security, public infrastructure monitoring, underwater surveillance, power & energy industry etc. 

 

Past projects include earthquake localization, ocean wave monitoring, LLM application development, GPU computing, etc. 

 

Durations of the internships are usually 3 months, and the exact dates are flexible.
