Chartered, technically strong and ready to take proper ownership of your projects?
We're recruiting a Chartered Structural Engineer to join an established and growing engineering consultancy delivering a broad range of residential, commercial and industrial projects.
You'll be trusted to manage projects, make technical decisions and work directly with clients rather than simply produce calculations.
The Role
- Structural design of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures
- Producing and checking calculations, drawings and specifications
- Managing projects from concept through to construction
- Liaising with architects, contractors and clients
- Reviewing and overseeing work produced by junior engineers
- Ensuring designs are technically sound, practical and buildable
What We're Looking For
- Chartered Structural or Civil Engineer - MICE or MIStructE
- Strong UK consultancy experience in structural design
- Good working knowledge of Eurocodes
- Experience with Tekla, TEDDS, Robot, ETABS or similar
- Confidence managing projects and dealing directly with clients
- Ability to check and guide the work of other engineers
- Experience with temporary works, drainage or BIM would be useful.
