About APLYiD

APLYiD is a RegTech company that makes AML and KYC compliance fast and simple for regulated businesses. Real estate agencies, law firms, accountants and conveyancers use our platform to verify identities and meet their obligations, so they can get on with the work they're actually in business for.

We operate across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Australia's Tranche 2 reforms have made AML a priority for tens of thousands of new reporting entities, and we are going from strength to strength as we look to the next major growth opportunity.

The role

You will own APLYiD's performance marketing across three markets and every paid channel: LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta and AI-driven channels. You'll manage a six-to-seven-figure annual media budget and be accountable for the pipeline it generates.

This is a new, senior, hands-on role. You will set up our testing and CRO programme, build the measurement foundations we scale on, and own data and attribution for the marketing function. You'll report to the CMO and work closely with content, design, partnerships and our regional sales teams.

What you'll own

Paid media across AU, NZ and UK

  • Plan, build and run full-funnel campaigns across LinkedIn, Google Ads and Meta, from demand generation through to demand capture.

  • Set channel and regional budget allocation, and move spend to where it produces pipeline.

  • Tailor strategy to each market, product and growth motion.

  • Evaluate and trial new paid and AI-driven channels as they emerge.

Testing and conversion rate optimisation

  • Set up and run a structured testing and CRO programme across ads, audiences, offers, landing pages and more.

  • Maintain a prioritised test backlog, with a clear hypothesis, success metric and sample size for each test.

  • Work with our internal team to ship landing page and conversion improvements, and report what each test delivered.

  • Build a shared record of results so every test makes the next campaign better.

Data, tracking and attribution

  • Own our tracking stack: Google Tag Manager, GA4, platform pixels, conversion APIs and UTM governance.

  • Build and maintain an attribution model that connects spend to pipeline and revenue in HubSpot.

  • Report CAC, pipeline contribution and return on spend by channel and region to the CMO and leadership team.

  • Build the dashboards the marketing and sales teams use to make weekly decisions.

  • Support the content team on AI and LLM visibility: track how APLYiD appears in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews for priority AML queries, and give them the data to decide what to create and improve.

Working with sales and the wider team

  • Meet regularly with sales in each region to review lead and pipeline quality, and feed what you learn back into targeting, audiences and offers.

  • Track leads from first touch to closed deal, and use conversion rates by channel, segment and campaign to decide where to invest.

  • Agree lead definitions and feedback loops with sales so marketing optimises for qualified pipeline.

  • Brief content and design on ad creative, and use performance data to shape what they produce next.

  • Support product launches, new partnerships and growth motions.

  • Work on partnership co-marketing and account-based campaigns.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years in performance marketing, with at least 3 in B2B SaaS demand generation.

  • Hands-on expertise in LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads, and working experience with Meta.

  • A track record of managing six-to-seven-figure budgets against pipeline and revenue targets, and of running structured testing and CRO programmes with measurable results.

  • Experience running paid media across multiple regions, ideally including Australia and the UK.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills: GTM, GA4, conversion tracking, attribution modelling and spreadsheet analysis.

  • Working knowledge of HubSpot or a comparable CRM, and how marketing data flows through to sales.

  • Fluency with AI tools in your day-to-day work, from analysis to creative testing to campaign operations.

  • Clear, concise communication. You can explain what the numbers mean and what you'll do about them.

Bonus points

  • Experience with answer engine optimisation (AEO) and improving brand visibility in LLMs.

  • Experience with HubSpot workflows, automation and reporting

  • Experience in regulated industries, RegTech, legal tech or proptech.

What we offer

  • A competitive salary, plus KiwiSaver.

  • Hybrid working from our Auckland office.

  • Ownership of a multi-market media budget and direct influence on company growth.

  • A small, capable team that moves quickly.
