We’re looking for a reliable, switched-on Samples Operator to join the samples department of a well-known carpet manufacturer in Pukekohe. This is a varied role covering everything from making and cutting samples to picking, packing, despatch and some forklift work (if a valid license is held). If you like being kept busy and enjoy a mix of physical and computer-based tasks, this one’s for you.

The Details
- Location: Pukekohe
- Pay: $25.00 per hour, weekly pay
- Hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm during training, then moving to 1:00pm to 9:00pm
- Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
- Start: ASAP
- Manufacturing samples and operating the cutting table
- Picking, putting away and despatching samples
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers, including forklift work
- Stocktaking and using internal systems (D365, Outlook) for admin
- Keeping work areas clean and helping in the warehouse as needed
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience, ideally working with fabric or carpet
- Physically fit and good with your hands
- Confident on a computer and happy to learn new systems
- Reliable, punctual and safety-minded, with the ability to multitask
- Forklift licence and/or experience a bonus, but not essential
