For our client - DAF Trucks N.V. in Eindhoven - we are seeking a dedicated Embedded Software Engineer.
Are you ready to shape the future of heavy-duty transport technology? As an Embedded Software Engineer at DAF | PACCAR Electronics in Eindhoven, you ensure that high-tech embedded systems operate reliably and safely before trucks hit the road.
In this position at PACCAR, you operate at the forefront of automotive innovation, turning complex requirements into working prototypes and production-ready applications. Working alongside architects, technical specialists, and engineering teams, you evaluate technical feasibility and de-risk architectural choices before full-scale development begins.
Your primary responsibilities: - Build proof-of-concept implementations, prototypes, and production-ready software solutions. - Research emerging frameworks, software technologies, and development methods. - Perform technical feasibility studies, benchmark evaluations, and trade-off analyses. - Support supplier assessments and contribute directly to architecture innovation roadmaps. - Transfer technical knowledge and lessons learned smoothly to core engineering teams.
