The AI Labor Index arrives

We started publishing what our data knows about the job market — and going after every listing that hides pay.

The biggest week in Dreamwork's history: 321 pull requests in seven days, 79 of them on Friday alone. We published The AI Labor Index, our first flagship report on how AI is rewriting who gets hired. Plans arrived — Dreamer, Pro, and Concierge, with checkout and Write with Opus for paid tiers. And 185 of those pull requests served a single obsession: recovering the salary employers actually posted, in every format, currency, and pay period they write it.

The AI Labor Index

Our first flagship research report is live: what 343,819 job postings say about who AI is hiring and who it's cutting — the hollow middle of the 2026 market, where AI is now the most-cited reason for U.S. layoffs while AI talent has never been more in demand. The /research surface was rebuilt around it: hero stats, elevated search, a paginated index, and daily precomputation so the whole thing loads instantly.

Dreamer, Pro & Concierge — and Write with Opus

Dreamwork's consumer plans landed: Dreamer stays free, Pro and Concierge unlock the heavy machinery, and checkout works end to end. Paid tiers now write cover letters and answers with Opus, the strongest writing model in the lineup, with a one-tap toggle right on the pack. Your daily pack counter lives in the Active header so you always know where you stand — and importing jobs became free for everyone.

The war on missing salaries

185 pull requests taught the index to read posted pay the way employers actually write it: hourly and annual, base versus on-target earnings, equity extras, shorthand ranges, and multiple currencies with deterministic conversion. Estimates now carry confidence scores derived from real benchmarks and only ship when the benchmarks are strong — and recommendations prefer salary numbers backed by the source posting over any guess.
